Field-flow fractionation - a practical introduction

I am by training an HPLC specialist. Field flow techniques are powerful and potentially useful in a wide range of application areas. A number of texts describe the theory in considerable detail, but very, very few provide any real information about assembling an FFF system. This does. As well as including specialists' writing about applications using FFF, and the obligatory theoretical development. An excellent introduction to the technique.
Biggest drawback - the age. Thirteen years is a LONG time in science. This text is dated - there are improvements that are not documented herein. But if there's any other text with the practical advice about field-flow, I don't know about it. I PERSONALLY wouldn't spend the list price, but I bought a used copy for about 1/4 that and am quite happy with the value. Even 1/2 list would be worth it, in my opinion.

Bought this, had my class cancelled, and the next semester they were using the next edition. Thought I would still use it but then found that the some of the information on laws and legal precedents, especially on cultural issues was missing so I ordered the newer edition after the 1st test.

excellent reading for the serious seeker of truth

I've often thought that Christians needed a "reality check". When I read this book, I discovered that I was the one in need. I have never read a more honest,helpful, and relavant book. I wish Dr. Crabb lived in my neighborhood. Inside Out deals with why Christianity doesn't seem to solve the real issues of every day life, and how we as individuals can really make a difference in our world. As the title implies, we must begin our work inside ourselves. We must face the truth of how we ourselves fall short of God's perfect plan for our lives, and even go so far as to do something about it! It is not a book that is easy to read, but well worth the effort.
